Documentary series exploring generosity. In the first episode, Aled Jones hears the story of one of the last WWII land girls, who helps a modern-day veteran and his family.
As a nation, the UK is incredibly giving, and Going Back Giving Back is born out of this generosity. Presenter Aled Jones will explore someone's personal history to see how they can positively change the life of another.
In the first episode, Aled Jones is going back to the 1940s to hear the courageous story of one of the last remaining land girls in Great Britain, who worked the land and fields during World War Two. On her journey, she meets a modern-day veteran and his family who are still struggling with the effects of war. But can she give something back to them with a generous act that will change their lives?
