Following a rare illness in 2010 which left her hospitalised and barely able to walk for six weeks, cook and broadcaster Neen MacKay made it one of her life targets to change her body chemistry and reduce the risk of further ill-health. She has a passion for eating well and believes that changing our diet can have a dramatic effect on our health. Calum and Catriona Munro and their two children live in Kilmuir on the Isle of Skye.
Their son has a number of food intolerances, an issue which according to some reports affects up to 50 per cent of the population, and they have decided to test her theories as they take on the challenge to alter their diet and their lifestyle. We also explore the rise of the organic food industry as many seek alternative food choices, and visit a farm outside Inverness to find out more.
