Euan take a walk up a Galloway Hill with former Conservative MSP, Sir Alex Fergusson, who is currently President of the Scottish Campaign for National Parks. The campaign wants the Government to create up to seven new National Parks. Euan is on mission to find out why.

The production of veal – meat from young calves has always been controversial. Dougie visits Bellfield Farm near Dumfries which is now producing veal to some of the highest welfare standards in the world, giving the calves a longer and higher quality life.

It’s almost fifty years since the first Buddhist Monastery was opened in Scotland. To mark the anniversary Sarah spends a night at the Samye Ling Buddhist Monastery near Eskdalemuir. It’s the largest Tibetan Monastery in Europe.

Euan visits the Ayrshire Farm that is home to Police Scotland’s Mounted Branch. Here the horses and riders are trained to cope with a range of hostile situations. Euan helps out with an exercise to prepare the horses for a riot situation.

Nick and Dougie continue their food Odyssey in the west of Scotland with a trip to Ganavan Sands near Oban. Here they set up their mobile kitchen to cook some Veal produced to high standards at Bellfield Farm near Dumfries. But will the public be prepared to eat this controversial meat?
