Punjabi vocalist Inderjit Nikku passes through the studio and producer Tru Skool speaks to Dipps about his latest project 'One Time 4 Ya Mind'. Punjabi Folk Music producer Tru Skool is presenting a new Punjabi vocalist onto the scene his name is Ashok Prince. (Hear him live from Holland) his debut album is 10 tracks of raw Punjabi folk music blended with street hip hop sounds. Created entirely by Tru Skool - the album is called 'One Time 4 Ya Mind'.
Ashok Prince left the Punjabi 2 decades ago and settled in Amsterdam in Holland - where, amongst the small community of Punjabi's he didn't get as much exposure or as many opportunities to enter into the music scene as we do in the rest of the west. But performing at a mela on stage in Amsterdam he caught the eye of Punajbi folk music producer Tru Skool - who was captivated by his energy and the raw vocals he possessed.
