Boston Brexit

On Songs of Praise this week Pam Rhodes visits Boston in Lincolnshire, the town with the highest proportion of leave voters in the referendum, to see how the church community is reacting to the vote. According to the 2011 Census, the town is home to a higher proportion of eastern European immigrants than anywhere else in England and Wales, with 1 in 10 of the population being born abroad. With many being Catholic, this has lead to a marked increase in attendance at St. Mary's church, but it's not without its problems.

Calais Revisited

A year after her visit to the camp in Calais known as "the jungle", Sally Magnusson reunites with Biniyam, a young Ethiopian she met at the camp who was determined to worship in the most challenging of circumstances and equally determined to get to Britain.
