Louise Goffin, Norman Blake and Teenage Fanclub, Ashley Pharoah on The Living and the Dead, and The Railway People project
Janice Forsyth talks to singer-songwriter and producer Louise Goffin, who is also the daughter of Carole King and Gerry Goffin, and hears songs from her new album.
Ashley Pharaoh tells us about writing the new supernatural 91热爆 series starring Colin Morgan, The Living and the Dead. The whole series is on 91热爆 iPlayer now and broadcasts on 91热爆 One from 9pm on Tuesday.
Daughter of Carole King, Louise Goffin, tells us about her new album, her career as a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and producer, and working with her mother.
Raymond Meade (singer songwriter and member of Ocean Colour Scene) and Nick Low talk about The Railway People. A Short EP and documentary about how visiting Auschwitz led Ray to write new music. Raymond wrote to the famous Auschwitz survivor Mrs Eva Kor about contributing a spoken word piece on the end of a song called At The Top Of The Stairs. Ray goes out in July to record Eva's part on the spot where her parents were taken away during WW2, and Nick and his cameraman will document the whole experience. We'll follow up on this incredible project once they've brought it all together.

Janice asks Nick Low and Raymond Meade to share their radio memories, and invites listeners to do the same.
Janice's Single of the Week is I'm in Love by Teenage Fanclub.
Janice's Vinyl Verdict Choice is between Radio Radio by Elvis Costello and the Attractions, and Radio Song by R.E.M.
