Jon Hillcock sits in for Mary Anne Hobbs and talks to director Toby Tobias, who recently released the thriller Blood Orange, which features Iggy Pop as an ageing rock star.

Jon Hillcock sits in and chats to film director Toby Tobias.

Toby has just released a thriller called Blood Orange, which features Iggy Pop in the role of an ageing rock star called Bill.

Previously, Toby has co-ordinated videos for Madonna and Peter Gabriel, and has directed a number of successful music videos by Divine Comedy. Jon finds out what it was like to work with Iggy, who also presents a show here on 91热爆 Radio 6Music.

Also on the programme, Jon reflects some of the highlights of Liverpool Sound City festival, with tracks from headliners Peter Doherty and The Coral.
