As a dad wins a landmark High Court ruling after refusing to pay a fine for taking his daughter out of school for a trip to Disney World. Is this a victory for parents?

The High Court has ruled in favour of a father who refused to pay a fine for taking his daughter on holiday during term time. Jon Platt argued he had no case to answer as his daughter went to school regularly. Is this a victory for parents?
And Vote Leave campaigners have been accused of 'peddling false figures' about the cost of Britain being in the EU by the former Conservative Prime Minister John Major. It comes after the head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde said voting for Brexit could cause substantial harm to the economy, echoing comments by Mark Carney, Bank of England governor who said the EU could 'possibly include a technical recession'.
