Live from the National Assembly for Wales on St David's Day
Jeremy discusses devolution, nationalism, steel, leeks and daffodils live from the National Assembly for Wales on St David's Day and tours the Senedd a decade after it opened.
Radio 2's Jeremy Vine Show is being broadcast live on St David's Day from the Senedd, the home of the National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff. This year is the tenth anniversary of two major milestones in Welsh devolution - the opening of the parliament building and of legislation to give the Welsh Assembly more powers.
During the programme, Jeremy will look at how devolution works in Wales, its successes and controversies. We'll talk to key figures from the political world, tour the Senedd building, ask whether the steel industry in Wales is worth fighting for and debate the leek versus the daffodil as the national symbol. And, of course, we will be joined by our great friend from the Rhondda Valley, the allotmenteer Terry Walton.
