The Chancellor has promised to spend billions on grand infrastructure projects including high-speed road and rail links in what he calls the Northern Powerhouse. Last week, the Independent鈥檚 owners ESI Media announced that the print edition of the newspaper would cease production and the paper would move online. But today, a new print newspaper is being launched by the Trinity Mirror Group. The New Day will be on sale from next Monday 29 February throughout the UK at 25 pence per edition.
