90's diva Tabu travels down memory lane to reminisce about her career.
One of the 1990's top actresses, Tabu entered Bollywood primarily known as actress Farah's sister but she was quickly appreciated for her own talents after her performance in the movie 'Vijaypath' in 1994.
Garnering critical acclaim with her performances in movies like 'Maachis' and 'Virasat', Tabu is now considered one of India's most accomplished actresses and continues to appear in both popular Bollywood blockbusters and alternative cinema. She also appeared in Ang Lee's 'Life of Pi' in 2012.
In this programme Tabu speaks candidly about the realities of being an actress in 90's Bollywood and how and why she steered away from populist cinema to more experimental Indian cinema.
