Joining us this week... Antonia Quirke
Antonia is part of the team on ‘Film 2015’ and has been a film critic for 20 years.
Starting as a trainee reporter on the radical London free sheet The Camden New Journal she now writes about film for the Financial Times and is one of the presenters of the Film Programme on Radio 4.
Her book about the movie JAWS is one of the BFI’s biggest-selling titles, and her memoir about life as a film critic battling a heap of overwhelming obsessions – Madam Depardieu and The Beautiful Strangers – was described by Clive James as ‘a comic success at a dizzying level.’
