The seventies saw Russ join the band Argent, where he sang lead vocals on one of the group's biggest hits Hold Your Head Up. After leaving the band, Russ also found success in songwriting and was responsible for hits including Hot Chocolate's So You Win Again and Rainbow's Since You Been Gone. He talks to Johnnie about his memories of the decade.
