Ian Rankin discusses Even Dogs in the Wild, his new novel, the 20th featuring detective John Rebus, and the first book he wrote after talking a year's rest from writing.
Composer Howard Blake's most famous work is the soundtrack to the now- Christmas classic, The Snowman. He'll be in conversation with Janice as he arrives in Edinburgh for two premiere performances of an animated film based on a song-cycle of poems by Robert Louis Stevenson, The Land of Counterpane, originally set to music by Howard in 1993.
