As we mark 50 Years of Asian Programming, Ray speaks to the musical game-changer Apache Indian who was one of the first British Asian artists to achieve mainstream success in the UK charts. Apache's songs like Chok There, Boom Shack-A-Lack and Arranged Marriage put him on the map and led to him touring with Sean Paul and having his music featured in several films. Also, the Shayri Club in which listeners can share their beautiful poetry and an hour of love song requests and dedications after 11pm.
