Anne Marie McAleese visits the most western village in the United Kingdom - Belleek, which is famous for this and the pottery of course.聽 But there is more to it than that... As local woman Bridie Gormley explains on a mini village tour.聽
The Port on the Promontory
An isolated peninsula townland, in the parish of Ballywillan, that was Portrush a couple of hundred years ago.聽 But it all changed when they built the harbour in the town in the 1820's.聽 It's a history that retired journalist Hugh McGrattan knows inside out and is featured in his new book, 'The Port on the Promontory'.聽 Ronan Lundy met up with him to talk boats, trains and the town he loves so well.
Tamlaght O'Crilly
Anne Marie McAleese heads to the parishes of Tamlaght O'Crilly Upper and Lower, to hear about a 200 hundred year old church there and to find out more about the town itself.聽 She joins Reverend Stewart and Jean McCombe for a dander around the quiet, country church yard.
