#Bromance6Music - Help Compile a Great-Mate Playlist

Tom Robinson wants suggestions for a playlist inspired by artist friendships.

"Hey man, I love you. I think you're great. Just wanted you to know."

This, we assume, is possibly what Jack White said to Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney earlier this week. The two grown men had a bar spat a while ago and since then have been entwined in a handbags-at-dawn twitter feud. That is, until Patrick tweeted this a few days ago:

"TALKED TO JACK FOR AN HOUR HE'S COOL. ALL GOOD.
- PATRICK CARNEY (@PATRICKCARNEY) SEPTEMBER 14, 2015

Pretty epic, huh?

And they're not the only rockers who've apparently kissed and made up this week. Les Paul-flinging, top-hat rocking ex-Guns n' Roses chain smoker Slash revealed he'd found peace in a phone call to former band mate Axl Rose, saying that it's "time to dispel some of that negative stuff". Way to be mature, guys. Good job.

Couple that with serious 2015 make-ups from The Libertines, Dave Grohl & Courtney Love, Ride, and even Elton John & Vladimir Putin, and by Jove we've got a show topic on our hands.

So we want your tales of great friendships between artists, male or female. In his recent interview with Huey Morgan, Keith Richards said some nice things about Mick Jagger; Kayne and Jay-Z are bezzies; Puffy and Biggie were inseparable; Iggy & Bowie 4EVA; and the ultimate bromance was between John Lennon & Paul McCartney. Even though they fell out a few times they still loved each other.

We also want some 'galentine' examples please, such as Civil Wars' Hayley Williams and Paramore's Joy Williams, St Vincent hearting David Byrne, Lorde & Taylor Swift, Erykah Badu & Janelle Monae, and Lil' Kim & Missy Elliott.

You pick the music, so get your best friends-inspired suggestions to Tom via the hashtag #Bromance6Music to help create a playlist. Comment on the Now Playing Facebook page, here on the blog, email nowplaying@bbc.co.uk or drag tracks onto our Spotify and Rdio playlists.
