Live at Womad

Cerys Matthews presents live from Womad and shares an array of live music, including 91热爆 Introducing find Ngawang Lodup.

Cerys is live at Womad introducing listeners to the delights of this annual "feast of culture" which embraces music from all corners of the globe, alongside dance, drumming and cuisine.

First launched by Peter Gabriel in 1982, the World of Music Arts and Dance (WOMAD) festival has been held in Charlton Park in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, since 2007. This year's headliners are De La Soul, Atomic Bomb: Who Is William Onyeabor, and the Cat Empire. Also in the weekend's musical mix are some show favourites like Cheikh Lo, Dona Onete and Souad Massi.

In the second half of the show, Cerys is heading over to the Charlie Gillett stage to join up with Lopa Kothari and Mary Ann Kennedy, the presenters of World on 3, and a festival audience. In a live simulcast on both 91热爆 6 Music and Radio 3, Cerys, Lopa and Mary Ann will share an array of live music that includes the 91热爆 Introducing find Ngawang Lodup.
