Janice Forsyth discusses EIFF 2015

Janice Forsyth discusses the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2015 and hears from actor Ewan McGregor, who launched his Last Days in the Desert project at the festival.

The EIFF 2015 is in full swing - we hear from global superstar (and Crieff boy) Ewan McGregor who launched his latest project, 'Last Days In The Desert' at this year's Festival. Later in the show, Film critic Siobhan Synnot will be joined Rory Doherty to share their thoughts on this year's EIFF and their 'Best of the Fest' picks.

Janice will also be hearing from debut feature film director John MacLean formerly of The Beta Band; he will be discussing his directorial debut, 'Slow West' and Regular Critics, Eddie Harrison & Alison Rowatt will share their thoughts on the film.

They will also discuss 'The Overnight' - an alternately, racy and tender, L.A.-set comedy with 'adult themes' and 'She's Funny That Way' - a brand new film from Legendary American director Peter Bogdanovich.

Away from movies, we'll hear from singer, musician, and broadcast journalist Malka Marom who will be discussing her new book 'Joni Mitchell: In Her Own Words', - which looks at seven decades of her life and art, and explores the influence of Joni's childhood, her loves and losses, acclaim and criticism, poverty and affluence, and her triumphs and tragic mistakes!
