Former education secretary Charles Clarke told 5 live Breakfast the 70 year old law around compulsory - predominantly Christian - assemblies needs to be changed -- and RE should be replaced with religious and moral education.

So, is it time to make big changes to how religion is taught in our schools? What about the role of faith schools? Is it time to even think about keeping religion OUT of school?
