5live Breakfast has learnt that over half a million pre-payment gas and electricity meters have been forcibly installed in homes over the last 6 years. This is where energy suppliers seek court orders to fit meters when customers have fallen behind on their bills. The energy regulator Ofgem has now started an investigation.
