5 Top Tips to Stop Wasting Food and Saving Money

1-聽聽聽聽聽 Plan. Make sure you鈥檙e planning in the best way possible so you only buy what you need, make a list when you go to the supermarket and stick to it.

2-聽聽聽聽聽 Understand your date labels. Make sure you are not throwing away food that you don鈥檛 need to. Ignore 'Display until' and 'Sell-by'- they are for the seller. The 'Best before' date is about the quality of the food. The only one you need to take note of is the 'Use-by' date.

3-聽聽聽聽聽 Storage. Make sure you keep your food fresher for longer and store in the best way possible. For example, fruit, apart from bananas, are best kept in the fridge.
