The number of children abducted by parents has doubled over the last ten years. Divya Talwar hears from people fighting to get their children back from Pakistan and India.

The number of British children abducted by their parents and taken abroad has more than doubled in ten years. The UK Foreign Office dealt with nearly 500 cases last year. In this documentary Divya Talwar hears from the left-behind parents who have been fighting for years to get their children back from countries like Pakistan. She travels to India to speak to a mother who abducted her own son. She speaks to the lawyers and campaigners' struggling to reunite children with their parents back in the UK and asks if anything can be done to stop the growing numbers of children being abducted.
