Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie are joined by writer and journalist Mark Ellen, who talks about his book Rock Stars Stole My Life!: A Big Bad Love Affair with Music.

Mark and Stuart's guest today is writer and journalist, and all-round good egg, Mark Ellen. He became the Editor of Smash Hits in 1983, has written for NME, Q, and Select Magazines, worked at Live Aid and Radio 1, and founded Word Magazine with Whistle Test co-presenter David Hepworth. He's here to talk about his book, which charts his eventful journey through these musical waters.
