Simpson Family
Series in which families try out life overseas. A family hope Australia can offer the fresh start they desperately need after a year of heartache.
A family faces the biggest decision they'll ever make. After a trial week living on the other side of the world, will they decide to make the move to Australia for good?
Despite never having been, Garry and Michelle Simpson were all set to move their family to Australia in 2013 when tragedy struck - their four-year-old daughter was diagnosed with cancer. One year on, Fraja's cancer is now in remission, and the family are desperate to put the heartache of the last year behind them and make a fresh start down under.
A trial week living in Melbourne shows the family they could have the lifestyle they're dreaming of. But when emotional messages from home remind the family of the people they would be leaving behind in the UK, will the Simpsons decide to go ahead with a permanent move?

Amazing
The Simpson family update
The Simpson family are now living in Australia.
Garry and Michelle returned to the UK convinced the country really could give
their whole family a better future – and reconciled themselves with the idea of
leaving jobs and loved ones behind.
The news they were emigrating was received by
family and friends with a mixture of sadness and encouragement.Â
Once their visa was approved Garry received a
formal offer for a role as an IT instructor. The family made the big move in
October 2014 and living close to where they spent their trial week.
Look out for an episode of Wanted Down Under
Revisited featuring the family in February 2016.
