Episode 3
Gardening challenge series with Fern Britton. The seven remaining gardeners must present five perfect pods of peas and use their glut of produce to make dips and crisps.
Fern Britton hosts the third round of The Big Allotment Challenge. Just seven gardeners remain in the race to be crowned Britain's best amateur gardener.
Former royal gardener Jim Buttress wants five perfect pods of peas. International floral designer Jonathan Moseley wants the gardeners to present lilies, which are notoriously difficult to grow, as well as show them off in the surprise make challenge, a floral candelabra. And queen of preserves Thane Prince wants the gardeners to use their glut of produce to make dips and crisps.
Who will pocket the important best in shows and who will leave the allotment for good?
