Oldham Athletic reconsider a move to sign the convicted rapist Ched Evans. 20,000 people have signed a petition calling on the club not to sign the former Sheffield United striker, who was released from prison in October 2014. Oldham are holding a board meeting this morning.

Labour leader Ed Miliband says his party is "firmly in the centre ground" as he sets out Labour's general election campaign.
