Christmas Truce
It鈥檚 the second instalment of our journey to Ypres in Belgium to commemorate 100 years since the historic Christmas Truce during World War 1. Last week we met two families 鈥 one German and one English 鈥 who are travelling west and east across Europe to meet each other. They鈥檙e the descendants of Private William Tapp, and Lieutenant Kurt Zehmisch, who both kept diaries as the Christmas Truce unfolded at this very spot near Ypres in Belgium.听

Hip Hop Carol
Filmed on location at Carlisle Cathedral. Featuring a hip hop version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, which is the brainchild of Andy Dykes and Matthew Firth from the chaplaincy of the University of Cumbria. They hope their video will go viral!
