Dame Shirley Bassey, one of the most iconic voices in British music joins Jane to discuss 60 years in the music industry. To celebrate her Diamond Jubilee Dame Shirley is launching her new album,听Hello Like Before.

Karen Blackett

A leading businesswoman, Karen Blackett CEO of the advertising giant MediaCom UK, has been named as the most influential black person in Britain.聽 She beat off competition from household names like Lenny Henry and Idris Elba as well as other black business and political leaders to head the Powerlist 2015.

Britain's child migrants

From the 1860鈥檚 over 100,000 children were sent from Britain to Canada, Australia and other Commonwealth countries through child migration schemes. The Merseyside Maritime Museum, are holding an exhibition called, which explores the lives of the child migrants sent from Britain. Jenni speaks to Eleanor Moffat, a curator from the museum and Tony Chambers, a former child migrant.

Refuges for domestic violence

On Thursday a series of vigils organised by聽聽will be held around the country to mark the loss of specialist domestic violence services. As part of our series looking at refuges and domestic abuse, Sandra Horley, CEO of聽, joins Jenni to discuss the situation facing refuges and why Refuge believes there is a need for more gender specific legislation.

Pussy Riot

Pussy Riot is a聽,听,听. They came to the attention of the Western media in early 2012 when three members were arrested for staging an anti-Putin demonstration in the Christ the Saviour cathedral in Moscow. Masha Alyokina and Nadya Tolokonnikova spent 21 months in jail for their efforts. The two joined Jenni to talk about prison, their ongoing protest work and living with a continued threat to their safety.

Elizabeth Bullivant

Elizabeth Bullivant ,aged 89, is a hydrangea specialist who used to open her garden 聽to the public. In 2012 she moved in with her daughter. Soon after she became very ill, so ill that everyone thought she would die. She defied expectations, moved from hospital into a nursing home, then came back to her family. Her granddaughter, Kate, talks to her.

Kyung Wha Chung returns to London for the first time in 12 years, performing on December 2nd at The Royal Festival Hall. Why has she decided to come back and how has injury affected her career?
