Political discussion as the prime minister says Britain is being treated appallingly by the EU, thousands take action against Asda over equal pay, and Johann Lamont resigns.

David Cameron has angrily insisted that the UK will not pay the 拢1.7 billion the European Union is demanding by the beginning of December. Meanwhile Asda is facing mass legal action over equal pay for women shop workers. There is also a review of the morning papers with commentator and human rights campaigner Lee Jasper and the former Conservative MP Jerry Hayes.
