The Adventures of Leon
Today we talk to a man who鈥檚 walked 3000 miles across China, trekked over the biggest sand desert on the planet, faced tornadoes, hungry bears and lived to tell the tale. Leon McCarron is the adventurer from Articlave, up near Coleraine, where he met Anne Marie to talk about growing up and developing some seriously itchy feet.听听听听

Nature Matters
Now, the Nature Matters Photography competition is bringing environmentalist Tony Juniper to Northern Ireland, to be the judge of the best wildlife, wildplace image. However he tells us any trip to Northern Ireland wouldn鈥檛 be complete without visiting one place that really inspires him, Ballynahone Bog.
The bogland is in Maghera and there has been an amazing restoration there in the last few years, our other guest Kelly Muldoon from Ulster Wildlife knows all about it.

The winners of Nature Matters Photography competition will be on display in Belfast City Hall from Monday September 1st right through until September 20th

Cats and Dogs of Benvardin
Many years ago out near Ballybogey, Derrykeighan, there used to be a Safari Park. You might remember the lions and baboons but since the safari closed down some much smaller paws are padding around thanks to Louise Neill who set up the Benvardin Animal Rescue Kennels.听听

Back in Time at Dunluce
A cliff hanger now to finish with, literally! Because that's where the remains of Dunluce Castle sit, quite precariously, hundreds of feet above the sea on a stunning part of the Antrim Coast. Archaeologist Andrew Gault and Amelia Ferrera will join us to talk about the lords and ladies, bows and arrows, weapons and games. All on show today at Dunluce castle.
