The Art of Losing
Hospital drama. Elliot is magnanimous in the face of Jac's betrayal, but how will he handle it when Jac twists the knife? Trouble looms for Sacha and Essie.
As news of Jac's new appointment as head of cardiothoracics spreads, Elliot is gracious in defeat. But Jac, with a further twist of the knife, tells Elliot that he will no longer be in charge of the Herzig. Faced with the fact his Darwin daughter has stolen his life's work - can Elliot forgive her?
Sacha and Essie are thoroughly loved-up and Dominic is pleased to benefit from Sacha's happy mood on the ward. However, the benefits are short lived when Essie realises Sacha may be moving too fast. When a patient appears to recognise her from the papers, Essie is forced to consider whether she has really dealt with her past and is ready to face the future.
Fletch assures Colette his new laissez-faire management style will be a breath of a fresh air on AAU after her jobsworth ways. Colette remains to be convinced that Fletch is taking the job seriously, and suspects he may have hired a new nurse for how she looks on the surface rather than her qualifications. Will the new addition to AAU be able to charm Colette as well as Fletch?
