Johnnie hears 70s memories from actor, comedian and occasional musician Jasper Carrott.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Ian Hunter, Iggy Pop and the Isley Brothers.

This week he's joined in conversation by the actor, comedian and occasional musician Jasper Carrott. He formed a folk club in Solihull at the end of the sixties, giving him his first experience of performing on stage between acts. He went on to have a top five hit in 1975 with Funky Moped before moving into television, performing his own stand-up plus sketch shows and series such as The Detectives. This year he's appearing on tour with a music and comedy show, accompanied by long-time friend Bev Bevan of The Move and The Electric Light Orchestra.

Also on the show, Johnnie will revisit a moment from the decade courtesy of the 91Èȱ¬ archive and another classic seven-inch single will be added into Johnnie's Jukebox.
