Katie Derham returns for a new season of Proms Extra, the weekly Proms magazine show.

Featuring special highlights and exclusive previews from the upcoming concerts, including Elgar's The Kingdom and Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony. The show also visits China with trumpeter Alison Balsom as she prepares for her Proms appearance with the China Philharmonic Orchestra, and David Owen Norris returns with 'Chord of the Week'. Plus young Chinese superstar pianist Haochen Zhang gives an exclusive performance in the Proms Extra studio.
