Eleanor Oldroyd presents a special programme looking at the effect the First World War had on sport here in the UK, 100 years to the day since Britain declared war against Germany.

Eleanor is joined by former England rugby international and keen amateur historian, Lewis Moody, to hear stories of some of the individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice and to reflect on the sportsmen that lost their lives during the Great War.
