Sarah's guest this week is the architectural historian and Chief Executive of English Heritage, Simon Thurley. He is a prolific history broadcaster, presenting television programmes such as Flying Through Time and Lost Buildings of Britain, as well as appearing on Time Team. Recent publications include Somerset House: The Palace of England's Queens 1551-1692, and Men from the Ministry: How Britain saved its Heritage.
