Mikey Cuddihy was orphaned at the age of nine and adopted, along with her four siblings by her uncle,Tom. At the time she was living in the US, but shortly after her uncle adopted her, she found herself on an unexpected trip to England and installed at Summerhill School in Suffolk, the experimental school that believed and still does, that children's motivation comes from within, lessons are optional, and the children make up their own rules.

ÌýLily is making her full stage debut at in The Last Days of Troy - a theatrical reworking of The Iliad by poet Simon Armitage. She joins Jenni to talk about her role as one of the world’s most beautiful women - Helen of Troy.ÌýÌýÌý
Women & guns in the USA
It’s recently been reported in the American press that gun ownership among American women is on the rise. ÌýBetween 2005 and 2011, the percentage of American women who own a gun nearly doubled, rising from 13 to 23 per cent, according to Gallup poll data. Jenni talks to Professor Mary Stange, co author of ‘Gun Women: Firearms and Feminism in Contemporary America’ and to Dr Peter Squires, Professor of Criminology and Public Policy at University of Brighton about possible reasons behind the upsurge in female gun owners in the States.

Tomorrow marks the final of the 40th Eurovision Song Contest since the victory of Waterloo by four Swedes at Brighton Dome Ìýin 1974. ABBA - Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anni-Frid - Ìýwent on to become Ìýone of the most successful bands of all time. ÌýTheir Greatest Hits album Gold isÌý the UK's second biggest selling album of all-time and from 1975 to 1980, ABBA spent 43 weeks atop Britain’s album charts – a feat equalled by no other band. So how keyÌý were the two women to the Abba phenomenonÌý and how Ìýfavourably do they compare now Ìýwith today’s Ìýfemale icons ofÌý pop music ? ÌýJenni talks to Ingmarie Halling, author of ‘Abba: The Treasures’ and Curator of Abba The Museum in Stockholm who worked as the band’s stylist on tour . Jenni’s also joined by professorÌý Sarah Niblock of Brunel University who writes on music as well as Scandinavian culture. She’s been an Abba fan since she was nine years old.
