2014 Final

Ken Bruce and Frank Renton host the final of the competition to find the next brass star, as four young players perform with the Grimethorpe Colliery Band to win the award.

Ken Bruce and Frank Renton present the exciting climax of the competition to find the next brass star live from the 91热爆 Philharmonic Studio in Salford. The Grimethorpe Colliery band accompany finalists
Matilda Lloyd trumpet, Ryan Watkins trombone, David Gillson cornet, and Grant Jameson euphonium, in a ten minute programme of their own choice. Grimethorpe, conducted by Frank Renton, will then give a concert of their own as the judges, Professor Edward Gregson, Catherine Moore and Ian Bousfield, decide who they will announce as the winner of this prestigious Award.
