Steve Kaufer co-founded TripAdvisor in 2000.听It has grown into one of the largest travel sites in the world, with听more than 200 million visitors a month. The听TripAdvisor,听Inc. group听now includes 20 travel brands.

Steve听has a degree in computer science from Harvard University, and his favourite travel destination is Jerusalem, Israel.

Lawrence Tomlinson began his entrepreneurial career in 1988, at the age of 23, when he took out a bank loan to buy his family's small care home business. Today the LNT Group employs over 2000 people across five core businesses, including Ideal Care 91热爆s and LNT Construction. In 2005听he also acquired the sports car manufacturer Ginetta, which now exports around the world. In addition to manufacturing cars, he is also an accomplished听motor racer, and has competed at Le Mans.

Lawrence has also spent the last year as serial entrepreneur in residence听at the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills. As part of that role he independently conducted a review of听bank lending to small and medium-sized businesses; the initial Tomlinson report was published last November.

Before joining the TUC Nicola Smith worked as a researcher at the Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion, and in policy and research roles for Barnardo's and the Children and Young People's Unit at the then Department for Education and Skills.

Nicola was appointed head of the economic and social affairs department at the TUC in March 2011. She is also a member of the Social Security Advisory Committee.
