The Deputy Assistant Commissioner of the Met police says he fears media coverage following sex abuse trials could put alleged victims off from coming forward.

Martin Hewitt, who's Deputy Assistant Commissioner at the Metropolitan police, says he fears media coverage, following the acquittals of Bill Roache and Dave Lee Travis, could put alleged victims of historic sexual abuse off from coming forward.
