Euan Sutherland, group chief executive, The Co-operative Group
Euan Sutherland started his retail career at Boots in 1992. He then worked for Mars, Coca-Cola and Currys, where he was appointed marketing director in 1998.

He later moved to Matalan, before becoming chief executive of Superdrug and then Kingfisher UK & Ireland. He joined the Co-operative Group as chief executive in May 2013.

Adrian Maxwell, managing director, Fracino
A former Rolls-Royce engineer, Adrian Maxwell joined coffee machine manufacturer FracinoÌýin 1987 as a service engineer. The company was formedÌý51 years ago in a garden shed by his father Frank; itÌýnow employs 44 people, and exports to more than 70 countries.

In June 2013, Fracino was invited by Number 10 Downing Street to loan 11 of its Piccino espresso coffee machines to the G8 Summit in Enniskillen. A machine is also installed at Number 10 Downing Street.
