But hundreds of asylum seekers want to make Northern Ireland their home. Some are caught between not being able to stay legally and not being able to return to countries with despotic regimes. With no right to work and minimal rights to benefits, these people live hand-to-mouth relying on food vouchers and the kindness of strangers.
