Dr Jill Barber
Jill Barber is Project Director of Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum of Primitive Methodism in Crewe. Jill has fond memories of her Sunday school from a very young age and went on to become a Sunday school teacher at the age of 16. Jill oversees the exhibitions at the museum which also include a Victorian Sunday School re-enactment for school children.
Bill Kenwright
聽is a leading 听补苍诲 and Chairman of Everton Football Club. Bill believes that the values instilled by St Domingo Sunday school, from where the football team originated, have remained part of the club throughout the years. Faith has always been a part of Bill鈥檚 life and he discusses how it has a place in the football world of today.聽
Professor Stephen Orchard
Religious Historian and former principal of Westminster College, Cambridge. Professor Orchard was Director of Christian Education Movement for fourteen years before becoming Principal of Westminster College, Cambridge from 2000. He retired in 2007 and was elected Moderator of the General Assembly of the United Reformed Church, of which he is a minister, for 2007-2008. He served local Churches in South Wales, London and Hertfordshire, before becoming Assistant General Secretary of the British Council of Churches.
Dave Hill
Dave has been involved in Children's ministry for over a decade and is currently Team Leader of Ivy Kids at Ivy Church. Dave believes that Sunday school is all about empowering parents, giving them the opportunity to teach the same lessons at home as well as be involved in the Sunday school. He stresses the importance that in order for the Sunday school to succeed, it must be fun and entertaining for the children.
