Ensemble Turicum at the 2013 Zurich Early Music Festival

Lucie Skeaping introduces sacred music by the 18th-century Portuguese composer Marcos Antonio Portugal, performed by Ensemble Turicum at the 2013 Festival Alte Musik Zurich.

Lucie Skeaping is joined in the studio by Portuguese music expert Ant贸nio Jorge Marques to introduce sacred music by the 18th-century composer Marcos Ant贸nio Portugal, including his Missa a quatro in F and movements from his V茅speras de Nossa Senhora. The performers are Ensemble Turicum, recorded at the 2013 Festival Alte Musik Zurich.
