Today the Royal Navy Search and Rescue helicopter team join forces with other emergency services to respond to a serious road traffic collision on a remote country road near Tyndrum. In Dumfries, it's the busiest night of the year also known as 'Black Eye Friday' meaning extra work for the police and the Royal Infirmary's A&E team.
