Louise White sits in

Louise White sits in for Kaye Adams. Research has suggested that vitamin pills are a waste of money and offer no health benefits. Do you agree?

A group of leading scientists from the John Hopkins University School of Medicine and the University of Warwick have said that vitamin pills are a waste of money and offer no health benefits. Researchers declared "case closed" on supplements, while one academic suggested they could even be harmful by creating false worries about illnesses which cannot be cured.
They warned people to stay clear of the pills, which are taken by one in three, because Western adults are typically well-nourished and rarely require additional vitamins.

Louise asks if vitamins are a waste of money?

Do you take vitamins - which ones and why?
Is it possible to get all the nutrients you need from your food intake?
Are there particular points in your life that you think you need to take vitamins and supplements?
And what do you swear by to keep feeling healthy throughout the winter?
