This time last year Laura Mvula was an almost unknown singer-songwriter,Ìýwhen herÌýEP "She"Ìýwas picked by the 91Èȱ¬ and she was named asÌýone of the Sounds of 2013. Then in February she released herÌýfirst album ‘Sing to the Moon’ to critical acclaim and for which she received two MOBO awards and was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.ÌýThis year she's also toured America, played Glastonbury and contributed to the soundtrack of the film "12 Years A Slave" coming out on general release this week.
