Clare Balding hosts the topical faith show. Her guest this morning is Professor Alister McGrath, biographer of the writer CS Lewis, who died 50 years ago this week. CS Lewis is perhaps best known as the author of the fantasy children's books The Chronicles of Narnia, but he was also one of the most influential Christian writers of the 20th century. A memorial to CS Lewis will be dedicated at Westminster Abbey this week. Clare's faith guest is Fr Brian D'Arcy.

Alister McGrath

Alister McGrath is Professor of Theology, Ministry and Education at King's College London and President of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He's also the biographer of the writer CS Lewis who is听probably best known for his children's books, The Chronicles of Narnia, and for his writings on Christianity. CS Lewis died 50 years ago this week and on Friday a memorial听will be dedicated to him in Westminster Abbey.
