Lisa Blower worked for over a decade in commercial radio in marketing and events before returning full time to academia and becoming a writer in 2006. Her story 鈥楤roken Crockery鈥� won The Guardian's National Short Story Competition in 2009. Her first novel is titled Sitting Ducks.
