Heather Small鈥檚 distinctive voice helped the band M People shoot to fame in the 1990s with hits like 鈥淢oving on Up鈥� 鈥淪earch for the Hero鈥� and 鈥淥ne Night in Heaven鈥�.聽 With聽their 1993 album 鈥淓legant Slumming鈥� they picked up a Brit Award and a Mercury Prize. Now聽M People are back on the road to celebrate with their 20th Anniversary Greatest Hits Tour.聽Heather talks to Clare about her career with M People, growing up in London as the daughter of Caribbean parents,聽and the importance of聽faith in her life.

British double leg amputee and Paralympic Gold medallist, Richard Whitehead, is running a marathon a day this summer from John O'Groats to Land's End, to raise money for charity.聽The run started on August 13th and finishes tomorrow (September 23rd) 鈥� by which time Richard will have covered a staggering 977 miles (1572km)

Ruth trained as a nurse and midwife, and worked as a counsellor before being ordained priest in the Church of England in 1994, one of the first women to do so. She has a first class honours degree in theology and a masters, but is also trained in mime and physical theatre. Over recent years she has become increasingly involved in interfaith dialogue, as well as regular broadcasting work with the 91热爆.
